Hang Tag Creator

Welcome to Hang Tag Creator from Beverly Clark. This utility will let you quickly and easily create your own professional looking hang tags for your new Favor Kit.

Before You Begin

Before you get started, you need to have the FREE Adobe Acrobat Reader for your computer. We recommend the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader to ensure optimal performance. If you don't have Adobe Acrobat Reader already, you can download it from Adobe.

Instructions

Step 1 : Select Your Product

Thank you for your purchase of a Beverly Clark Collection Favor Kit.
So that we can best layout your hang tags, please select the product you purchased.

Step 2 : Print Alignment Sheet

In order to ensure that we have accurate alignment, please print out an alignment sheet. Place the alignment sheet into your printer with the "face" of the sheet in proper position. The "face" of the hang tag is the side where the holes appear on the upper-right of the hang tag itself (the sheet should be in the printer so that you see 4 tags across and 3 tags down). Some printers require that the face be placed up in the tray for proper printing and other printers require the face to be placed down. Refer to your user's manual to determine how to properly load the alignment sheet.

You'll also want to set the "Page Scaling" in the Adobe Acrobat Reader Print settings to "None", before you print. Otherwise, the alignment will not be accurate.

Step 3 : Align Hang Tags to Your Printer

Once the alignment sheet has printed, please remove it from the printer. Looking at the alignment sheet, locate the number next to the line that is closest to intersecting the vertical perforation and enter it in the space below. If the perforation is outside of the alignment range (i.e. the perforation is to the left of the number 1 or above the letter A), then the sheet may have been loaded incorrectly. Ensure that when looking at the face, the holes are on the upper-right side of the hang tag

Now, locate the letter next to the line that is closet to intersecting the horizontal perforation and enter it in the space below.

With these two values in place, you have completed the alignment process.

Step 4 : Choose Your Font

Select the font you want to use on your hang tags.

Font NameSample
Century GothicCentury Gothic
TahomaTahoma
Times New RomanTimes New Roman
AngelinaAngelina
FlaiemischeFlaiemische
Step 5 : Enter Your Message

Enter the message to be printed on your hang tags. You are permitted up to two lines per hang tag, but the longer your message, the smaller we'll have to make the printing to fit it on the hang tag.

For the gold and silver hang tags, we recommend just a simple monogram. For the blank hang tags, you can enter the name of the bride and groom on the first line and the wedding date on the second line.

Step 6 : Create Your Hang Tags

You are now ready to create your hang tags. We don't actually print them in this step, but we prepare them to be printed. Click the "Create Tags" button below to continue.
